LOVE tableside made salsa and guacamole--could easily make a meal with that. Decent margaritas. Had Alaskan grill--excellent fish. Otherwise good, not great offerings--typical mexican food. Would rate 4 to 4 1/2. ”

“ This is a nicely decorated restaurant serving Americanized versions of various Mexican dishes. Nonetheless, the food is very good and freshly prepared. Our server was very helpful to a couple of newcomers and her recommendations were spot on. I really enjoyed my lobster enchiladas, the black beans and rice were also excellent. My companion's cilantro chicken was fine but not as good as my enchiladas. Her "Mexican" rice was quite good and the refried beans on her plate were very good. Of special note is the table-side prepared salsa which was mixed to our specifications, it was excellent and the star of the meal. ”

“ I'd recommend this Guadalajara! We were in a large group of almost 20 and our party was handled fast, efficiently, with no major mistakes and the food was good. I got the vegetarian burrito chilango, initially just without cheese, but the server checked to see if I just didn't want cheese or no dairy at all - I really appreciated that! It seems like the standard vegetarian burrito came with cheese, sour cream, and ranch on the side salad. The burrito itself was yummy, it had a sweetness to it I think from the grilled onions, and was a pretty big portion including a scoop of avocado and salad on the side. The complimentary table side salsa was also made really well. We requested not too spicy, and it wasn't and still had good, fresh flavor. I didn't get any drinks, but other members of the party really liked the margaritas and said they were a good size and strong as well. ”

“ We tried this Mexican restaurant on our first visit to Tucson. Four of us had dinner there two of us ordered drinks from the bar, which were very good and on point. The staff was friendly and efficient, and they brought us complementary nachos and actually make the salsa fresh at your table . We each ordered something different and we all fully enjoyed our meals which came promptly and we're very hot and fresh tasting.. we would certainly return their on our next visit ”

Also made it Chimi style. I'm telling you right now, makes this chimichanga go up a level! It's sooooo good!!! The price is amazing too for how big it is! It's always 2 meals for me. Everytime I come here this is what I order. I also ordered horchata to drink which pairs nicely with this chimichanga. Everytime I've been here I have a nice waiter or waitress. Never dissatisfied when I come here. Atmosphere: Always clean and inviting and relaxed. Never super busy when I've been during the week around noon. ”
